We are a Cambridge and Trinity Exam Preparation
Center
from Tony, everyone's favorite Guiri!
In Spain, there is an important emphasis
placed on the study of English as a second Language. When
you consider that Spain is a full fledged member of the European Union
as well as a participant in the Euro economic zone, you can see
where the importance of knowing English well would be valued. Also consider
that, outside of the Asian rim, one could certainly make a strong
argument that the two most important languages in the business
world today are English and Spanish.
Here at English Unlimited, we have professors
that have been preparing students for the Examination Suites
of the University of Cambridge and Trinity College London during the
last four school years with a very high success rate of over 96%
combined.
University of Cambridge Exams
Our professors have experience preparing
students for the five General English Examinations offered
by the University of Cambridge which are:
-
KET – Key English Test,
-
PET –
Preliminary English Test,
-
FCE – First Certificate in English,
-
CAE – Certificate in Advanced English
&
-
CPE –
Certificate of Proficiency in English.

The most popular Cambridge exam of this
series is, without a doubt, the FCE – First Certificate in English.

Why is the First Certificate exam so
popular? For starters, it’s a challenging and complete intermediate
level exam which is widely accepted by many Educational Institutions
and Major Corporations in Spain and around the world.

Trinity College of London
Trinity College Spoken English for Speakers
of Other Languages Exams (ESOL) form a series of twelve progressively
graded exams, which are designed for speakers of languages other than English
and which set realistic objectives in listening to and speaking
with other English speakers.
They move from a very low level of proficiency
(Grade 1) up to an advanced level of proficiency approaching first-language
ability (Grade 12). The Trinity exam is an excellent way to introduce students
of all ages to English certificate examinations in a flexible system
that really allows anyone and everyone to participate and have success.

In 2002, Trinity has added a new exam
suite to their portfolio, the Integrated Skills in English or (ISE)
exams. The ISE exams are broken into three levels:
More information on ISE exams can be
found at:
www.TrinityCollege.co.uk. We will be looking at addition this exam to our current portfolio
during the year.
