 Tony is our multi-faceted
English teacher who likes to spend his free time
working as a software engineer when he is not teaching
English, that is. Tony's spent the last five years working
on software projects for Alcatel, Telefonica & SchlumbergerSema. Tony is the creator and administrator of
the English
Forum.
Tony is a native of
Kansas City in the USA where he was born and raised. When he came to Spain in 1998, having
nothing more
than a TEFL teaching certificate and a poor level of Spanish,
he began trying to earn a living like everyone else.
Having taught more English students than he can
count, Tony does like to mention that he is
35 for 37 with students taking the Trinity College English
exam, 12 for 12 with the First Certificate in English
exam and 2 for 2 with the Proficiency in English exam. This being
said, he honestly dislikes using books as a basis for English
learning and prefers to teach you English as his mother and
father taught him.... BY SPEAKING, READING AND LISTENING
TO IT!
